Welcome to Heritage Retreats Valencia, a luxurious complex managed by sisters Debbie and Kym Lane, in the tranquil setting of Pla de Corrals, set high in the mountains near Barxeta, in sunny Valencia Spain. We both embarked on our Heritage Retreats Valencia project, some 2 years ago, a project to build a prestigious, but small, family orientated complex which housed luxurious luxury self catering lodges, with the alternative facility of a quality bed and breakfast service here in Valencia Province Spain. We believed that such a facility would enable families, couples, of groups of friends to experience the magnificent scenery that Valencia Province offers you as well as a facility to visit the many splendid Towns and Cities that are within our locale.
Why not treat yourself and experience the best for less than you might think. Our luxury self catering lodges (sometimes referred to as wooden cabins), make wonderful family. or group accommodation, enabling those staying to visit many of our local towns and beaches e.g. Gandia, Xativa, Tavernes del Valldigna and of course the picturesque city of Valencia itself - the jewel in the Provinces's crown.
You can also catch a train at Xativa station and visit the beautiful Valencian capital Valencia city. This city, the third largest in Spain, boasts magnificent cathedrals, shops, a port, an Oceanografic, botanical gardens - something for everybody. Valencia was, of course, the venue for the 2007 Americas cup.
So after 18 months of back breaking and seriously hard graft, with the obligatory blisters, we have transformed a six bed roomed villa into superb bed and breakfast accommodation and have additionally built, yes built, four luxury self catering lodges from mere logs, which is how they arrived here. Each of these four luxury self catering lodges is theme designed and truly reflects the origins we had in mind in terms of both its ambience and furnishings.
The luxury self catering lodges are themed as Spanish, African, Canadian and, to represent the United Kingdom - Chelsea. Each cabin is tastefully decorated to enable you to fully embrace the culture of its theme.
At Heritage Retreats Valencia we have additionally built two swimming pools and even have produced a "man made" beach for you to laze upon - for those oh so lazy days, when you just want to lie and watch the world go by in a serene setting.
